RARE BREW TOUR

Tour your way through the Festival and stop at the following breweries where a specialty rare or sour brew will be tapped every 30 minutes or so. The tour will include a story for each rare brew straight from a brewer or brewery spokesperson!

Short’s Brewing – Anniversary Ale: High gravity wheat wine made with blood oranges. 9.3% ABV
Jolly Pumpkin – Rojzilla: Special release sour amber ale. 7.4% ABV
New Holland Brewing – Incorrigible Reserve: White sour ale with Michigan berries added. 4.0% ABV

Saugatuck Brewing – Blueberry Maple Stout: A sweet stout with big maple flavor and aroma met with mild blueberry flavor and aroma, also notes of chocolate and coffee. 5.9% ABV
Arbor Brewing – Khatta Kala:
Stone Brewing – Stone Farking Wheat W00tstout: Bourbon barrel aged stout, Drew Curtis. Wil Wheaton, Greg Koch. 13.5% ABV

Lagunitas Brewing – HotSide Sour-Mashed Daytime: Waiting on description
Brewery Terra Firma – Chocolate Orange Oatmeal Stout: Subtle orange flavor grounded by a substantial chocolate base with a hint of roast malt in the finish. A complex malt and hop bill provide depth and complexity without too much heaviness. 6.3% ABV
Short’s Brewing – Strawberry Short’s Cake: Golden ale with strawberries and milk sugar. 5% ABV

Hudonville Pike 51 Brewing – Jolly Stave: Sour red. 5.6% ABV
Bell’s Brewing – TC Barrel Aged Porter: Waiting on description
Anderson Valley – Wild Turkey Barrel Stout: Aged for three months in Wild Turkey® Bourbon barrels, this luxurious stout has a deep ebony hue and a beautiful mahogany head. The woody, vanilla-like notes imparted by the barrels mingle with aromas of fresh baked bread, toffee, and espresso and envelop the rich chocolate and roasted barley flavors with a fine bourbon character. 6.9% ABV

Atwater Brewing – Corktown Rye PA: A bitter, moderately strong American pale ale that uses its clean, supporting malt to showcase its hop character. 6.8% ABV
Brewery Vivant – Paris: Red wine barrel-aged sour

New Belgium Brewing – Love Apple Felix: Waiting on description
Left Hand Brewing – Oktoberfest Marzen Lager: Biscuity, malty goodness dominates upfront while the noble pedigree hops lend a properly spicy, dry finish. 6.6% ABV
Founders Brewing – Canadian Breakfast Stout: An Imperial Stout brewed with Chocolate and Coffee Aged in Maple Syrup Bourbon Barrels for a year. 10.6% ABV

Short’s Brewing – Creepster: Amber colored german style gose brewed with apricot, orange peel, coriander and lemongrass. 8.8% ABV
Oskar Blues Brewing – Nip, Sip, Chub (AKA Holiday Chub): It’s a chubby porter made from the first ever 2-row malt from Riverbend Malt House with cocoa nibs from French Broad Chocolate Lounge and coffee from The Brown Bean Coffee Roasters. 8.0% ABV
North Peak Brewing – Bourbon Barrel Aged Nomad: Dry hard cider. 6% ABV

7:00 p.m.

Lagunitas Brewing – Wilco Tango Foxtrot: An imperial brown ale that is rich, smooth, dangerous, and chocolately. 7.83% ABV
Rockford Brewing – Unholy: A classic Belgian-style ale originally popularized by the Trappist monastery at Westmalle. Pleasant, soft malt base with flavors of orange blossom, vanilla and hints of clove. Full-bodied with alcohol warmth and a dry finish. 10.0% ABV

7:30 p.m.

Round Barn Brewing – Grape Expectations: Golden ale of brilliant clarity with a beautiful white frothy head. The ever popular Niagara Grape has a refreshing character which is perfectly accented by pink peppercorns. 6.1% ABV
Stormcloud Brewing – Every Wine Barrel Has A Silver Lining: Silver Lining Saison aged in a Chardonnay barrel. 6.5% ABV
Weyerbacher – Blithering Idiot: Blithering Idiot is brewed in the British tradition of balanced, hearty ales. It’s a deep-copper ale with notes of date and fig. The finish is warm and fruity, and begs for the next sip. 11.1% ABV
